All are welcome to attend the launch of our Northern Community Recreation Park on Saturday 28 April featuring hip-hop performances by local artists supported as part of the City of Onkaparinga's Sharing the Space program, through a partnering arrangement with Mission Australia.

The Northern Community Recreation Park will be officially opened as part of a community event on Saturday 28 April 2007. Event activities will be focussed on the skate facility and surrounds, near the corner of Happy Valley Drive and Manning Road, in Flagstaff Hill. The celebration will run from 11:30am to 4pm with formal proceedings, including the official opening at 1pm.

The event will also feature skateboard workshops, jams and demos involving professional skaters from Billabong and BMX riders through Volatile Visions.
