The Australian Red Cross National Poster Competition celebrates our differences

Young people across Australia have the chance to express their artistic talents while also thinking about anti-discriminatory messages with the launch of the Australian Red Cross poster competition ‘One Red Cross Many Faces’.

In the current environment where discrimination and racial tensions are high the Poster Competition aims to recognise and celebrate our differences but also to highlight our common humanity and promote respect for one another despite where we come from, what our age is, how much money we have, whether we are male or female, our beliefs, physical appearance and abilities.

The poster competition is an opportunity for young people to creatively express their ideas celebrating the diverse nature of the Red Cross and the communities and people that Red Cross works with as well as promote the humanitarian values upon which Red Cross is based.

Young people between the ages of 6 to 16 are invited to take part in the competition, with the winners announced on World Red Cross day on 8 May and entries viewed on line and at exhibitions across Australia.
