    Impact on life coping, personality Development
    & the implications for workers In different settings

    A FREE Forum for those working with young people who have experienced sexual trauma (e.g. school counsellors, youth and residential care workers, welfare and health workers, police etc.)

    Presentation by: Maxine Joy – NADA Counselling Services

    The presentation will focus on the impact and effects of sexual trauma on young people through exploration of the question:

    “What do young people carry with them as effects of sexual trauma and how can workers assist?”

    The forum will also:
    • Explore gaps and needs for those working with young people who have been sexually assaulted/abused
    • Identify possible strategies and solutions
    • Identify key stakeholders to participate in future initiatives
