• Young Achievers Award – Nominations are now being taken. Call 8132 0753 for more information!
• “Learn to Earn” – Design and construct a puppet theatre! Wanted – a team of young people to create, build, write and perform a puppet show to tour schools and communitygroups. “These entertaining and educational performances will provide peer education on a range of topics including drug and alcohol use, mental health, body image, healthy lifestyles and other issues the group deems relevant to young people”.

• Youth and Parent Services – Uniting Care Wesley provides a Southern outreach program at the Second Story on Mondays. UCW provide Family Therapy services, for families experiencing issues with the young person aged between 12 and 18 years. For more information, call: 8202 5160.
Training
• Master Builder’s Association – Free training course – Youth Employment Program. This is a program for young people between the ages of 16 and 24. The training course will incorporate “hands on” skills combined with classroom theory. This course is nationally accredited and is recognised throughout the industry. Professional Development
• Australian Childhood Foundation - Professional Development opprotunity - “Parent to Child: Working with parents in the contet of intergenerational child abuse”.
