BOARD MEMBER

Edmund Rice Camps SA Inc is seeking nominations from individuals interested in actively participating on the Edmund Rice Camps SA Inc Board of Management. The term is for a 2 year appointment, with an emphasis on balancing continuity with new perspectives.

The role will see you volunteering on a Board of Management that works towards ensuring Edmund Rice Camps delivers it services to a high standard to Children, Young People, Families & Volunteers within South Australia.
Specifically, we are looking for people with:
* Experience / Knowledge in Fundraising / Marketing or
*Experience / Knowledge in Child Protection/ Child Welfare or the human services sector or
* Previous management experience (preferably at a senior level)
* Strategic planning experience or
* Marketing and business development experience or
* Human Resources Management experience or
* Willingness to contribute to the organisation beyond the monthly meetings

Having previous Board experience would be a bonus, however, you do not need to have prior Board experience, but you do need to be enthusiastic and have a strong desire to help us achieve our goals!
The board meets monthly, together with one full day’s development and training and also has approximately 3-4 other training and development sessions. Currently, board members work probono, however, there is a tremendous reward in the satisfaction of seeing the development of a good quality services!
