What is Rock Against Warming?
A year ago, four 15-year-old Adelaide kids came up with a plan to raise awareness among youth about global warming , and to give youth a voice in the debate.
The four kids invited young musicians from across Adelaide to submit original songs to a compilation CD called 'Rock Against Warming'.
'Rock Against Warming' is now a reality. The CD has been completed, and it will be launched at concert at Fowlers Live on Thursday, 11 October. Five of the bands featured on the CD will play at the concert.
'Rock Against Warming' was made possible with the help of a grant from the Adelaide & Mt Lofty Ranges NRM Board.
All profits from the Concert and all proceeds from sales of the CD will go to the Conservation Council of SA for climate change projects.
The concert: $10 + booking fee (7pm, 11 October, Fowlers Live)
The CD: $10 plus postage (will be on sale at the launch)
